Akarsh Khurana is an actor, director, producer, and writer who works in the Hindi film industry. He is widely known for directing as well as writing some popular shows. Akarsh is the son of theater actor and screenwriter Akash Khurana. Akarsh has been a part of 46 plays. Since 1997, he has been the owner of a popular theater company named AKVarious. Akarsh started his career in the movie industry as a dubbing artist in the film ‘Museum Ke Andar Phans Gaya Sikandar.’ He, along with his brother Adhaar Khurana established Troika Productions in September 2020. Akarsh made his debut in Bollywood as a screenplay writer for the 2006 superhero film ‘Krrish.’ After this, he continued to write screenplays for films like ‘U Me Aur Hum,’ ‘Sarhad Paar,’ ‘Humshakal,’ ‘Kites,’ and ‘Krrish 3.’ He has also played supporting roles in movies like ‘Mumbai Calling,’ ‘David,’ ‘The President Is Coming,’ ‘Befikre,’ and ‘Baapjanma.’ He also worked as a writer for the web series ‘TVF Tripling’ and served as a director in romantic drama series ‘Mismatched,’ road comedy-drama ‘Karwaan,’ and comedy film ‘High Jack.’ He has also served as a director for ‘Rashmi Rocket’ starring Tapsee Pannu.
