Ajay Devgn's 'Raid' emerges third highest grosser of 2018
Ajay Devgn's 'Raid' managed to strike gold at the box office as it has now become the third highest grosser of 2018 after 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and 'Padmaavat'. With Rs. 84.36 crore in its kitty so far, the film has surpassed the lifetime collection of Akshay Kumar's 'PadMan' (Rs. 82.10 crore). 'Raid' also stars Ileana D'Cruz and Suarabh Shukla.
Taran Adarsh tweeted the collection of 'Raid'
A commendable feat for a non-commercial film
To see a content-oriented film put up such huge numbers at the box office is both heartening and an eye-opener for the industry. 'Raid' has certainly proved that a film devoid of commercial trappings and heavy marketing can also emerge a success solely on the basis of its powerful story. The film has been directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.
