Halloween is next month: Aishwarya's look slammed by Indian designer
Last week, former Miss World and Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her Paris Fashion Week debut, and garnered mixed reactions to her look, to say the least. While some appreciated the actor's beauty, others blasted her overall look. Reacting to the getup, celebrated Indian designer Wendell Rodricks took to his Instagram to slam the look and criticize the 45-year-old actor's stylists.
Here's how Aishwarya styled up for the occasion
For the coveted walk, Aishwarya opted for a purple-pink floral asymmetrical dress, featuring puffy full sleeves, frills all over, and a high neck. She styled her look with bold purple and red shimmery eye-shadow, a bold red lip and an up hairdo. She walked the runway for the L'Oreal Paris Le Défilé show alongside actor Eva Longoria, singer Cheryl Cole, Helen Mirren, among others.
Here's what Rodricks wrote on his Instagram
Clearly unhappy with the actor's look, Rodricks wrote, "L'Oreal, you have one of the prettiest girls in the world and this is how you do her make-up and dress her? Sack the stylist for this sack dress with a note that Halloween is next month."
"Sack the stylist for this sack dress"
Aishwarya's last was 'Fanney Khan'; will feature in Ratnam's next
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Atul Manjrekar's musical comedy Fanney Khan, also starring Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. However, the film failed to impress both critics and the audiences. Earlier, Aishwarya and Abhishek walked out of Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun, over "creative differences." Meanwhile, reports suggest that Aishwarya will soon be seen in Mani Ratnam's next, Ponniyin Selvan.
