Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter get grand welcome at Cannes

Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya have arrived at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, which commenced on Tuesday.
The duo, who were seen at Mumbai airport the previous night, were photographed on Thursday at Hotel Martinez in Cannes.
They received a warm welcome with a bouquet of flowers upon their arrival.

Bachchan to represent L'Oreal Paris at Cannes
Bachchan, a frequent attendee of the Cannes Film Festival, will represent beauty brand L'Oreal Paris this year.
In the previous year, she made a single appearance on the red carpet for the screening of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny wearing a silver-hooded dress that came with a train.
However, this year, she is anticipated to make two appearances on the prestigious red carpet.

Other Indian celebrities at Cannes 2024
Bachchan, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's successful film Ponniyin Selvan 2, will be accompanied at the festival by other Indian celebrities including Aditi Rao Hydari and Sobhita Dhulipala.
Rao Hydari, like Bachchan, will also serve as an ambassador for L'Oreal.
Dhulipala, on the other hand, will represent an ice cream brand at the esteemed event.
Jacqueline Fernandez and Kiara Advani also have appearances lined up.

Cannes Film Festival 2024: Jury and Indian contender
The Cannes Film Festival will run until May 25 at Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France.
This year's jury is led by Greta Gerwig and includes notable individuals such as Turkish screenwriter Ebru Ceylan, actor Lily Gladstone, and French actor Omar Sy, among others.
The festival will showcase the first Indian film to compete for the esteemed Palm d'Or in 30 years - Payal Kapadia's All We Imagine As Light.
