'Welcome To The Jungle' not shelved, clarifies director Ahmed Khan
Director Ahmed Khan has dismissed speculations that the upcoming film Welcome To The Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar, has been shelved. Speculation about the film's cancelation had been rife after Jio Studios reportedly deleted the announcement video from its official YouTube channel. This led to the rumor that the project may have been put on the back burner. However, Khan has now clarified the situation.
'Kickstarting our next leg of the marathon schedule internationally'
Khan addressed the rumors, reportedly saying, "There is no truth to these rumors. The film is on track, and we are kickstarting our next leg of the marathon schedule internationally from October, for which my technical team has already left for the first recce." Per reports, 70% of the shoot has already been completed.
'Welcome to the Jungle' features a star-studded cast
Welcome To The Jungle is the third installment in the Welcome series. The film boasts a star-studded cast of as many as 34 actors, including the lead actor Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Johnny Lever, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Mika Singh, and Daler Mehndi. Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor, who featured in Welcome and Welcome Back, chose not to return.
