'Baaghi 2' director Ahmed's take on 'Ek Do Teen' remake
The makers of 'Baaghi 2' have been receiving a lot of flak for recreating Madhuri Dixit's iconic 'Tezaab' number 'Ek Do Teen'. Opening up on the backlash for the Jacqueline Fernandez starrer song, the director of 'Baaghi 2' Ahmed Khan has said that the team was prepared for the criticism from the start. The reworked version left the fans disappointed big time.
"I did not choreograph it," says Ahmed
When asked if he was satisfied with the song, Ahmed said, "Firstly, I did not choreograph the song. It has been done by the great dancer-choreographer Ganesh Acharya." "From the moment we zeroed down on the song, we were ready for the criticism. But we must not forget that it is an experiment. We are here to take the praise and bashing," he added.
Meanwhile, 'Tezaab' director warned 'Baaghi 2' makers of legal action
Highly upset with the remixed version of the song, 'Tezaab' director N Chandra has vowed to take legal action against the makers of 'Baaghi 2'. The song was originally choreographed by the legendary Saroj Khan. Superstars like Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor have come out in defense of the song featuring their 'Race 3' co-star Jacqueline.
