Ahan Shetty joins Sunny-Varun-Diljit in 'Border 2'
Ahan Shetty, son of actor Suniel Shetty, has joined the cast of the upcoming war film, Border 2. The news was announced by co-star Sunny Deol through an Instagram post on Thursday. The post included a video introduction of Ahan underscored by the iconic song Sandese Aate Hai from the original 1997 film Border. To recall, Ahan's father, Suniel, played a pivotal role in Border.

The teaser features Ahan delivering a powerful line that evokes a strong sense of patriotism. He says, "Jisse paar nahin karpata dushaman woh na to koi lakir hai na diwar na khaai hai. Aur kya hai yeh border? Bas ek fauji aur uske bhai hai." This impactful dialogue has stirred emotions among viewers, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.
'Border 2' cast and release date revealed
The announcement of Ahan's inclusion in the cast comes after the 27th anniversary celebration of the original Border film. Previously, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh were confirmed as part of the cast. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta with Anurag Singh serving as director. Border 2 is set for a grand release on January 23, 2026.
