Aditya Srivastava is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Bollywood films, theater, and the television industry. He was born on July 21, 1968, in Uttar Pradesh. The actor gained recognition from the police procedural television series ‘CID’ which aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The show is one of the longest-running shows on television. Srivastava’s role as Senior Inspector Abhijeet on the show made him quite popular among the audience. He made his debut in Bollywood with the 1995 film ‘Bandit Queen’ which was directed by Shekhar Kapur. He has also done many voiceovers for various TV commercials. He was an important part of various popular TV series like ‘Aahat,’ ‘Byomkesh Bakshi,’ ‘Naya Daur,’ ‘9 Malabar Hill,’ ‘Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti,’ and ‘Rishtey,’ among several others. Later, he went on to appear in several Bollywood films. CID’s director BP Singh admired his performance in ‘Satya’ and offered him the show in 1999. Some of his Bollywood films include ‘Dil Se..,’ ‘Gulaal,’ ‘Dansh,’ ‘Black Friday,’ among several others. Srivastava was also seen in the romantic thriller ‘Haseen Dillruba,’ and will play an important role in ‘Bole Chudiyan.’
