'Rakt Bramhand': Samantha, Aditya begin filming for Raj-DK's ambitious project
Actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Aditya Roy Kapur have begun shooting for their upcoming web series Rakt Bramhand. The action-fantasy series is being directed by Rahi Anil Barve, known for the critically-acclaimed film Tumbbad. The show is being created by filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who are also working on the third season of The Family Man.
'Rakt Bramhand' is Raj-DK's 1st action-fantasy series
A source from the set told Mid-Day that Rakt Bramhand is Raj-DK's first action-fantasy series set in a fictitious kingdom. "Even as they are shooting The Family Man, they are constantly supervising Rakt Bramhand's progress," the source said. "The sheer scale of the production is something they haven't attempted before. We started shooting two weeks ago, and are currently canning some elaborate action sequences at Bahubali Studio in Borivali."
Filming to continue till February 2025
The source added that there will be a short 10-day break soon, after which the team will regroup in October. Most of the shoot will take place on this set and in other parts of the city till February 2025, they said. The series is described as an epic tale of blood, betrayal, and kingdoms. It also stars Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi.
