Aditya Narayan rams his Mercedes into an auto-rickshaw, injures two
Aditya Narayan was on Monday taken into custody by the Versova Police for allegedly hitting an auto-rickshaw with his Mercedes and injuring its senior citizen driver and a woman passenger. The singer was later released on bail. The accident took place in front of Indralok building, Lokhandwala back road, Andheri (West) at around 12:30 in the afternoon. Here are the details.
An FIR has been registered against Aditya
An officer from Versova Police station said, "Aditya misjudged while taking a U-turn and hit the auto-rickshaw from behind with his car." "We have registered an FIR against him are and waiting for the report of his medical test to check whether he was in an inebriated state or not," he added.
The singer took the injured to the hospital
The injured who were identified as Rajkumar Palekar (64), the autorickshaw driver and Surekha Shivekar, the 32-year-old passenger, were rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital by Aditya himself. "He did not try to escape from the spot and took the injured to the hospital. The driver has suffered head injuries and the passenger has also received injuries," the officer informed.
