The collision took place when Aditya was on his way to Andheri and he saw an auto-rickshaw speeding from the opposite direction.

I swerved to the left to avoid him and hit the auto-rickshaw on the side, causing it to topple over twice." "It was an unfortunate accident and I feel sorry for what has happened," he added.
The singer will bear the medical expenses of the victims
The injured who were identified as Rajkumar Palekar (64), the auto-rickshaw driver and Surekha Shivekar, the 32-year-old passenger, were rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital by Aditya himself. "I have decided to bear the full medical expenses of the victims, including Shivekar who is likely to be discharged today. The auto-rickshaw driver's treatment is likely to continue," he said.
