Adah Sharma confirms not buying Sushant's former home
Bollywood actor Adah Sharma humorously addressed living in the former Bandra home of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The sea-facing duplex, situated on the sixth floor of the Mont Blanc building in Bandra West, Mumbai, is a 4BHK apartment with a terrace. Sharma disclosed tidbits about her residence during an event on Monday, where filmmaker Vikram Bhatt was announcing his upcoming projects.
'The ₹378 crore earned by 'The Kerala Story' not mine'
When asked by a journalist if she'd purchased or was renting the apartment, Sharma clarified, "I took that flat on rent. The ₹378 crore earned by The Kerala Story are not mine!" She revealed that her grandmother contributes to the rent as she lives there, too. "My mother doesn't work, so she doesn't contribute, but she cooks great food for us." Sharma added, "That house belongs to a certain Mr. Lalwani...Even Sushant used to stay in that house on rent."
Sharma's house has no furniture
Bhatt jokingly mentioned that Sharma's house lacks furniture because she doesn't believe in it. Responding with a laugh, Sharma said, "Even my earlier house didn't have furniture." "It means that I like space. I like dancing, and when I dance, I don't want anything to get in the way." She added, "In Mumbai, we pay for space, and if I'm staying in such a beautiful house, I'd like to move around freely! That's why there's no furniture in my house."
Sharma's upcoming projects
Sharma is currently working on Bhatt's directorial Tumko Meri Kasam, where she will be seen alongside Anupam Kher, Ishwak Singh, and Esha Deol. The film is one of four projects produced by Ajay Murdia's Indira Entertainment, with Bhatt also backing these ventures.
