Sethi was reportedly born on May 14, 1976, in Chandigarh. He made his acting debut with the TV show Kyunki...in 2000. He also appeared in several films including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001), Deewane Huye Paagal (2005), and Kismat Konnection (2008). In June 2021, Sethi and his wife Jhanvi welcomed twin boys into their family.
