Gary Oldman to play crime-lord in new thriller 'The Courier'
Actor Gary Oldman is set to don his villainous gloves after a long time by joining the cast of the UK action-thriller The Courier. The 60-year-old actor, who last year won the Oscar for best actor for Darkest Hour, joins Olga Kurylenko in the project. Kurylenko, 39, is best known for films such as Quantum of Solace, Oblivion, and Hitman. Here's more.
The plot revolves around the ruthless crime lord of London
Set against a gritty London backdrop, the plot sees Kurylenko play a courier whose daily deliveries are interrupted when she discovers that her latest package is a gas bomb aimed to kill the only living witness on the edge of testifying against a ruthless crime lord, played by Oldman. Zackery Adler will direct this one, working from a script Andy Conway and Nicky Tate.
