Oscars chief John Bailey faces sexual harassment charges
In yet another shocker for Hollywood, the president of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, John Bailey, has been leveled with sexual harassment allegations, reported Hollywood trade publications. Bailey, 75, was elected as chief of the institution in August last year. He is currently said to be under investigation regarding the matter.
The Academy received three harassment claims
The Academy received three sexual misconduct complaints against Bailey after which it immediately resorted to launching a probe. "The Membership Committee reviews all complaints brought against Academy members according to our Standards of Conduct process, and after completing reviews, reports to the Board of Governors," the Academy said in a statement.
Producer Harvey Weinstein is also under the scanner
