Aanand L. Rai tests positive for COVID-19

Filmmaker Aanand L. Rai on Thursday said he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is in quarantine.
Rai shared his diagnosis on Twitter.
"I have tested COVID positive today. Just wanted to inform everyone that I don't feel any symptoms & I feel fine. I'm quarantining as instructed by authorities," he wrote.

The 49-year-old director also urged all the people who have been around him in the past couple of days to get tested and follow COVID-19 protocols. He completed a shooting schedule of his upcoming film Atrangi Re on Wednesday.

Rai is currently working on Atrangi Re which stars Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan.
Khan stars in a double role in the film which is slated for a Valentine's Day release next year.
Rai had made his directorial debut in 2007 with the movie Strangers and is best known for films like Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjhanaa.

Earlier, Rai's Twitter account was hacked
In another tweet, Rai said his Twitter account was hacked "more than 24 hours" ago and was restored later.
"Thank you @Twitter for getting me back my Twitter handle after being hacked for more than 24 hours. Really appreciate your efforts," the director wrote.
The incident makes Rai the latest film personality whose social media account was hacked this month.
