'We went wrong': Khan criticizes 'TOH'
Khan addressed the massive failure of his 2018 film, Thugs of Hindostan. He said, "When Thugs of Hindostan was made, mujhe bhi theek nahi lagi thi (I didn't like it). I had discussions with [Aditya Chopra] and Victor [director Vijay Krishna Acharya] but they liked the film. But it was a teamwork. We went wrong in that one," he confessed. The movie also starred Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan.
'Laal Singh Chaddha' failure hit me hard, says Khan
Laal Singh Chaddha, a 2022 film co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, was an Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump. Despite high expectations, the movie failed to resonate with audiences. Khan admitted, "When Laal Singh Chaddha didn't work, mujhe bohot bada dhakka mila (it hit me hard)." "My performance let the film down. My performance wasn't good. This is my reading. I've learned a lot from it. My performance will hopefully be better in the next film."
