Gulshan Kumar biopic 'Mogul': Aamir Khan wants underworld details removed
The ambitious Gulshan Kumar biopic titled 'Mogul' has been in the pipeline for a while now. While the makers continue their search for the leading actor after Akshay Kumar backed out of the project, the latest news is that Aamir Khan has come onboard as one of the producers. Known for his unerring script sense, Aamir has suggested major changes in the film.
Aamir wants focus on Gulshan's professional rise
As per a media report, the Subhash Kapoor directorial will no longer showcase the alleged role of the underworld in Gulshan's death. "The screenplay is currently being tweaked to make it more about Gulshan's rise from being a fruit juice vendor to the owner of the biggest music label in the country. Aamir is a big believer in underdog stories," the report said.
Here's what Bhushan Kumar said about the film
"My father's biopic is very close to me. That is the biggest announcement we have made in our lives and we will confirm an actor soon. He could be bigger than Akshay Kumar," Bhushan had said.
