Contrary to recent reports, actor Aamir Khan will reportedly not be involved in his nephew Imran Khan's comeback film.
Earlier, it was reported that Imran (41) is set to make his acting comeback with a Netflix film, which would be produced by his uncle Aamir.
However, sources told Hindustan Times that the reports are incorrect.

Sources told the film will be produced by Imran, Danish Aslam, and another mutual friend.
"There is a script that Danish Aslam has written, and it is going to be produced by him, Imran and another mutual friend...Aamir is not involved in any capacity with this comeback project."
They added that the project was taken to a streaming platform, which approved it based on the pitch level. However, no agreement has been signed yet as there is no full screenplay.

The source further added, "Imran and his co-producers are avoiding a comment on this since there is always a possibility that such things don't actually go through."
They added, "Therefore until things are locked, the film will not go on floors. Not this year definitely."
Per reports, the film is a romantic comedy directed by Aslam, who previously worked with Imran on the 2010 comedy Break Ke Baad.
