Aamir Khan considering playing spiritual guru Osho in a web-series
Aamir Khan never ceases to surprise the audience with his creative decisions. Known for his great sense of script, Aamir is said to have shown interest in a project based on the life of the late Indian spiritual guru, Bhagwan Rajneesh, also known as Osho. Reports suggest that Osho's story will be told in form of a web-series.
'Mahabharata' on hold?
If Aamir decides to take up the Osho web-series, it will mean that he has pushed back his ambitious 'Mahabharata' project. Previously, there were reports that Karan Johar is also producing a biopic on the late guru with Ranveer Singh in the lead. However, they have now moved on to Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba.'
Meanwhile, Aamir will be next seen in 'Thugs Of Hindostan'
The superstar is currently immersed in the shooting of 'Thugs Of Hindostan'. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. 'TOH' is slated to release on Diwali. Aamir and Vijay had previously collaborated on 'Dhoom 3' which released in 2013.
