Aamir shares plans for 'Sarfarosh' sequel at 25th anniversary screening
At the recent 25th-anniversary screening of the film Sarfarosh in Mumbai, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan announced plans for a sequel. Breaking his silence on the much-anticipated follow-up, Khan promised to give it a "serious shot." He stated, "I can commit about one thing, that we will definitely give it a really serious shot now of coming up with the right script and the right kind of film for it." The film co-starred Sonali Bendre.
Khan expressed enthusiasm for 'Sarfarosh 2'
When asked about his plans for the sequel, Khan said, "Sarfarosh 2 banni chaiye (Sarfarosh 2 should be made) even I feel that." "I have been after (director) John Mathew Mathan for so many years that he should make the sequel. In the climax of Sarfarosh, we gave a hint about Sarfarosh 2 as well." Pradeep Ram Singh Rawat, Makarand Deshpande, Naseeruddin Shah, Govind Namdev, Akhilendra Mishra, and Ashok Lokhande were also a part of the film.
What was 'Sarfarosh' all about?
