
Allu Arjun to receive whopping ₹175cr for Atlee's film: Report
What's the story
In a historic development, actor Allu Arjun has reportedly bagged a front-end deal of ₹175 crore for his upcoming project with director Atlee and Sun Pictures, reported Pinkvilla.
It is touted as modern Indian cinema's biggest front-end deal, and will see Arjun dedicate major dates to the film from August 2025 onward.
The superstar has also locked a "backend deal of 15 percent stake in profits," said the report.
Tentatively titled A6, the film is a high-budget project.
Production details
'A6' will be high on VFX
The pre-production of A6 is in full swing, and the cast and crew will be announced in the next two months.
The film will be heavy on VFX as Atlee wants to design a unique world with political and dramatic elements.
An insider told Pinkvilla, "Despite all the newness in the visuals, the screenplay will have all the elements of a quintessential Atlee film - from a strong introduction block to elevation points, and masala elements."
Career decision
Arjun's choice for 'A6' after 'Pushpa 2' success
After the success of Pushpa 2, Arjun was inundated with offers from different industries.
However, he opted for Atlee's A6 as his next project because of its potential global appeal.
The insider revealed, "After a success like Pushpa, it's important to follow up with the right film to consolidate the position. A6 is the perfect project for Allu to up the stakes further."

Meanwhile, Arjun's other project and timeline for 'A6'
Along with A6, Arjun will also work on a film with director Trivikram, which will go on floors in the second half of 2026.
A6's production timeline is from August to October 2025, depending on how long pre-production takes.
The insider added, "The idea is to roll with the film in the window of August to October, depending on the time taken for pre-production."
Atlee last directed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan.
