Born on May 31, 1976, Irish actor Colin James Farrell is best known for his performance in ‘American Outlaws’ (2001), ‘Phone Booth’ (2003), ‘S.W.A.T’ (2003) ‘The Recruit’ (2003), ‘In Burges’ (2008), ‘Horrible Bosses’ (2011) and ‘Total Recall’ (2012). He made his feature film debut with the movie ‘The War Zone’ (1999). As of 2021, Farrell has appeared in more than 30 Hollywood movies. He began his television career with the 1998 drama 'Ballykissangel' and has appeared in at least eight TV shows including ‘Saturday Night Live’ (2004), as of 2021. He has won one Golden Globe Award, two Boston Society of Film Critics awards, one Shanghai International Film Festival award, one London Film Critics’ Circle Award, one Irish Film and Television Award, and one San Diego Film Critics Society Award, as of 2021. In 2015, he was checked into a rehabilitation center for his addiction to recreational drugs and painkillers. In 2006, he filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend and model Nicole Narain and the Internet Commerce Group (ICG) and accused them for the unauthorized distribution of a 13-minute sex tape made by them in 2003. Later, in 2006, all the parties reached a confidential settlement and the case was settled amicably. As of 2021, Farrell has two sons—one with American model Kim Bordenave, and the other with Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś.
