Several top films from South Indian Cinema are getting released across various digital platforms over the next few days. Movies like Bheemla Nayak, Valimai, Khiladi, and Aaraattu are already in the OTT space now, and while hoping that you have watched them all, let us take a look at the other top five South Indian movies that will hit the streaming platforms soon.
'Radhe Shyam': Hits Amazon Prime Video on April 1
Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, Radhe Shyam is set to hit Amazon Prime Video on April 1, just three weeks after its theatrical outing. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the romantic drama will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on Prime. At the box office, the film's collection stood at (roughly) Rs. 214cr, meaning Radhe Shyam is a huge failure commercially.
'Puzhu': Mammootty-starrer releasing directly on SonyLIV
Malayalam film Puzhu is next in this list. Starring Mammootty and Parvathy Thiruvothu, the crime thriller is heading for a direct digital release on the OTT platform SonyLIV. The release date has not been announced yet by the makers. Directed by Ratheena, it is touted to be a psychological thriller and it is likely the movie will see Mammootty playing a negative role.
'Hey Sinamika': Hitting Netflix, JioCinema on March 31
Tamil romantic drama Hey Sinamika sits on the third place. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Kajal Aggarwal, the film is set to hit Netflix and JioCinema on March 31. The romantic drama will release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Directed by ace choreographer Brindha Master, Hey Sinamika hit the cinema halls on March 3 and was declared a flop.
'Naradan': Coming to Amazon Prime Video on April 8
Tovino Thomas's recently-released Malayalam film Naradan is the fourth entry. It is headed for its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 8. The Aashiq Abu-directorial also features Anna Ben, Indrans, Renji Panicker, Jaffer Idukki, Rajesh Madhavan, Sharafudheen, and Lukman in pivotal roles. Thomas plays a news anchor, while Ben is an advocate in Naradan. It released in the theaters on March 3.
'Bheeshma Parvam': Arrives on Disney+ Hotstar on April 1
Bheeshma Parvam, starring Mammootty, rounds up our list. The Malayalam gangster flick is set for an OTT clash with Radhe Shyam, as it is slated to hit Disney+ Hotstar on April 1. Also starring Anasuya Bharadwaj, Tabu, Shine Tom Chacko, Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, and Farhaan Faasil, the film had hit the big screens on March 3. It turned out to be a hit.
