What's the story

American stand-up comedian-actor-writer John Mulaney became the latest celebrity to enter the prestigious 5-Timers Club at Saturday Night Live (SNL) recently.

The not-so-private club includes names who have hosted the sketch show at least five times.

Popular names like Buck Henry, Danny DeVito, Candice Bergen, Bill Murray, Ben Affleck, and Dwayne Johnson are part of this.

Today, we look at five record-holding members.

Steve Martin became club member the fastest

The last member to make this list is Steve Martin.

The Pink Panther actor initially held the most number of hosting appearances record, until it was broken by Baldwin in 2011.

Still, Martin has another record to his name.

He took the least amount of time to gain admittance into the 5-Timers Club.

The actor also presented Mulaney with the club robe on Sunday.
