A new documentary titled Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy has revealed that the late F.R.I.E.N.D.S star was given 27 doses of ketamine in his final three days.
The shocking revelation was made by US Attorney Martin Estrada, who spearheaded the investigation into Perry's death before resigning in January.
The autopsy report cited "acute effects of ketamine" and accidental drowning as the cause of death.
The actor tragically died on October 28, 2023. He was 54.

'People who should have known much better...'
Estrada reportedly revealed in the documentary that Perry had obtained the ketamine doses from "people who should have known much better."
He also emphasized text messages from Dr. Salvador Plasencia, one of the suspects in Perry's death probe, showing his desire to profit from this.
The investigation resulted in five arrests including two doctors, Perry's personal assistant, and an alleged drug dealer dubbed "the Ketamine Queen."

Several suspects in Perry's death case remain on trial, including Dr. Plasencia and Jasveen Sangha, the "Ketamine Queen."
Both have pleaded not guilty and their joint trial is set for March 4. If convicted, Sangha and Plasencia will likely spend most of their lives behind bars, with Sangha possibly facing a life sentence.
Meanwhile, Perry's former personal assistant Kenneth Iwamasa pleaded guilty on August 7, 2024, to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death.

Further, the court documents revealed that on the morning of his death, Perry asked his assistant to administer the first ketamine shot of the day at around 8:30am.
Four hours later, while watching a movie at his Pacific Palisades home, he received another dose.
About 40 minutes after that, Perry asked for yet another ketamine shot saying, "Shoot me up with a big one," before instructing Iwamasa to prepare the hot tub.
This was his final dose before he died.
