Delhi Police goes all out, reunites 7-year-old with family within-hours
What's the story
A seven-year-old boy was reunited with his family within hours, thanks to the efforts put in by the Delhi Police who went door to door looking for his relatives.
The child left his house in outer Delhi's Nangloi on March 17, after his mother scolded him for breaking the remote control.
Fortunately, a cop spotted him sitting on the stairs of Nangloi Metro Station.

All is well
They knocked on every door, took help from temples, gurudwaras
The cop then made a PCR call and brought in a team, which then accompanied the child as they scanned his residential area.
They went door to door, circulated his photo on social media and asked various temples and gurdwaras to make announcements.
They were finally able to trace the family.
DCP (Metro) Pankaj Singh said the team will be rewarded for their efforts.
