Woman says no to physical relationship, Delhi watchman kills her
A 40-year-old watchman was arrested today for allegedly killing a woman after she refused to establish physical relations with him and his friend in Vivek Vihar area of Delhi's Shahdara, police said. The accused, identified as Sushil, is a resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation, Sushil confessed to the crime and told that he along with his friend killed the woman. Here's more.
Police will crosscheck watchman's version with other accused
A team has been sent to apprehend the co-accused, police said, adding that they will interrogate and cross-check Sushil's version with that of the other accused once he is apprehended. The case came to the fore when a 42-year-old woman's body was found near a vacant house in Vivek Vihar area on October 6. The deceased was identified as a Ghaziabad resident.
Reportedly, watchman also indulged in immoral activities inside house
The owner of the house did not reside in the area and the watchman was responsible for looking after it. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Meghna Yadav said locals also alleged that Sushil indulged in immoral activities inside the house. Further probe is on.
