Delhi: Stephen's and LSR won't be included in ranking system
Delhi's top two colleges, St Stephen's and Lady Shri Ram College may not figure in this year's national ranking system of colleges as they have refused to share details regarding their faculty, one of the mandatory measures to assess the colleges' performance. The National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF) will be announced by the government in April this year.
After last year's ranking, many colleges decided to participate
After the ranking was released last year, LSR college ranked sixth. Following that, St Stephen's, Hindu College, Sri Venkateswara College, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) decided to participate this year. However, St Stephen's and LSR College may not figure in the rankings, as they do not want to share details on their faculty.
