    Several popular restaurants in Delhi-NCR have gone a step ahead and joined hands with NGOs to organize special drives for feeding the underprivileged.

    Some of them are also arranging entertaining performances, clothes and books donation drives for the lesser privileged.

    By opening their doors for the underprivileged, these restaurants and NGOs are inspiring and driving change in the society.

    Restaurants winning hearts with special drives for underprivileged

    Gurugram's Warehouse Café organizes Social Sundays with NGOs Samarth, Eklavya, and Gaurav where food and entertainment are provided for people from different backgrounds.

    Di Ghent Café in Gurugram with organization FeedOn donates 400 food plates monthly to underprivileged children.

    Delhi's Café Yell in Defence Colony Market organizes a "bhandara" every month; with NGO Feeding India's help, it supplies leftover food to the needy.

    NGOs support social restaurants' efforts

    Several Delhi-NCR NGOs and volunteer-based organizations like Gurugram's Robin Hood Army have joined hands with restaurants to support their social efforts.

    Robin Hood Army's Swasti Saraoughi said they conduct weekend drives for food waste management.

    Swasti said around 19 restaurants send them food regularly, including Cyber Hub's Kebab Express, Biryani Blues, Chef Style, DLF Phase 4's Tossin Pizza, and online food portal Twiglys.
