On New Year's Day, there was some respite for the people in Delhi from the cold wave conditions with the minimum temperature being recorded at 7 degree Celsius against 3.8 degree Celsius the previous night.
A meteorological department official today predicted a bright day ahead with the maximum temperature expected to be hovering around 22 degree Celsius.
The humidity level was recorded at 100%.

Yesterday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 3.8 degree Celsius and 22.2 degree Celsius respectively. The minimum temperature was recorded at three notches below normal yesterday.
