Delhi-based fashion designer Rohit Bal arrested after fight with neighbor
Delhi Police arrested renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal for creating "ruckus" and threatening a neighbor in a fight over parking space in South Delhi's Defence Colony in the early hours today. The neighbor, Iqbal Singh, said that Bal along with his cook and driver forcefully entered his house. Bal was allegedly drunk at that time; the trio was granted bail later. Know more!
Rohit Bal threatened neighbor: Police officer
The neighbor complained Rohit Bal, under the influence of alcohol, knocked at his door around 3 am and threatened him. A senior police officer said: "We got a call from the complainant. Bal was arrested on charges of illegal trespassing, causing nuisance under influence of liquor, and threatening." Police registered a case against Bal under IPC Sections 427, 451, 510, 506, and 34.
Issue is over now: Bal's spokesperson
Rohit Bal's spokesperson said that it was just a fight over car parking and also claimed that the issue was over. He added, "It is over now, and he (Rohit Bal) is taking rest."
