Man suspects neighbor of having affair with wife, kills him
A 37-year-old tailor residing in Swaroop Nagar, North West Delhi was allegedly bludgeoned to death by a man who suspected him of having an affair with his wife. The incident took place yesterday. The deceased, identified as Manak Chander, worked at a shop in the same locality. A case has been registered on the basis of a complaint filed by Chander's sister.
Unhappy with her marriage, woman left her husband's house
Police said the accused, Amarnath, suspected Chander of having an illicit relationship with his wife. The woman was unhappy with her marriage and shared a strained relationship with Amarnath. She also alleged that Amarnath used to torture her and even stopped giving her money for household expenses, a police officer said. The woman got fed up of his constant torture and left the house.
Chander was rushed to hospital but was declared brought dead
After leaving Amarnath, she started living with Chander. Enraged, Amarnath went to question Chander and allegedly attacked him fatally outside his residence. Chander was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. A case was registered and Amarnath was arrested, cops added.
