Delhi: Air India gets aircraft-cleaning robot at Delhi Airport
What's the story
DIAL and Air India SATS together brought in a giant aircraft cleaning robot called the Nordic Dino II to the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on Thursday.
The robot also executed the automated aircraft exterior cleaning process for the first ever time in India (AI's A320), in just 1/4th the time it takes to clean aircrafts manually.

Kalindi Kunj bypass pushed after 15 years
The Kalindi Kunj bypass, stuck since 15 years due to a land dispute, may finally get a push by the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi Government, along with an East Delhi MP Mahesh Giri are attempting to revive the project.
The Delhi Government recently wrote to the UP Government, asking them to settle the land dispute.
DDA
DDA offers 12,000 new flats under scheme
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA)'s new housing scheme with 12,000 flats being offered will be rolled out soon.
Most houses are in Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Jasola; 10,000 of these houses are unoccupied flats from the 2014 scheme, the rest have been vacant.
All formalities of the scheme have been completed and the proposal has been sent to L-G Anil Baijal.
Gurugram
Hospitals wary as swine flue cases surface
After the city recorded a substantial increase in the number of swine flu cases reported in a week, hospitals in Gurugram are prepared to prevent a swine flu outbreak.
The health department has asked all private hospitals to report confirmed H1N1 cases to the district civil surgeon.
Symptoms of swine flue include high temperature, tiredness, headache, sore throat, appetite loss, diarrhoea and vomiting.

EDMC cleaner than its counterparts
A survey carried out by the Union Ministry for Urban Development revealed sanitation rankings of numerous cities across India.
Delhi remains close to rank 200 amongst 434 cities and towns.
Areas under the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) ranked at 196, despite of EDMC being the most financially poor civic body.
Areas under SDMC ranked 202 and those under NMDC ranked 279.

2 men mistaken as Muslims, beaten by cow vigilantes
A group of cow vigilantes attacked two people for allegedly transporting cows in the Jewar area.
The victims, from Sirsa Manjhipur, were identified as Jabbar Singh (35) and Bhoop Singh (45).
The cow vigilantes mistook them as Muslims when the two were returning with a cow and a calf from Mehndipur village.
After the victims claimed to be Hindus, the perpetrators relented and fled.
