Husband, kids witness as Delhi woman gets stabbed to death
In a rather unfortunate incident, two men stabbed a woman to death, before her husband and four kids in Delhi's Govindpuri. The incident took place at a weekly market. The two men were passing lewd gestures at the woman, to which her husband objected. They backed off, only to return in a while with two knives and then stabbed her thrice.
The woman was buying clothes for her son's birthday
"We were at Budh bazaar on Ravidas Marg to buy clothes for my son. We had decided to leave for our village in Etawah after that," said Umesh Dubey, husband of the deceased. He added that he shouted at the two men Ajay (23) and Bijender (24) for standing too close to his wife Suman. They left for a while and returned with knives.
They stabbed her thrice in chest, arm and back
Suman stood in front of Umesh to save him and got stabbed in the chest and then arm and finally at the back. The accused tried to flee but were caught by the shopkeepers. The cops said that a team rushed to the spot after getting a PCR call around 9 PM and took Suman to Holy Family Hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
