Warm morning in Delhi, but rains expected
The residents of the national capital on Saturday woke up to a warm morning as the maximum temperature was marked above normal. However, as predicted by the weatherman, light rains are in the forecast in some areas later during the day. According to the Meteorological (MeT) department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 17 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average.
Humidity level recorded was 85 percent: MeT official
A MeT department official said that the humidity-level recorded was 85 percent. "There is a possibility of thundery development and light rains may occur in some areas of Delhi later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 29 degrees Celsius," he said. Yesterday, the minimum temperature settled at 15.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature recorded was 32 degrees Celsius.
