Tempo driver injures dog, furious owner stabs him to death
An injury caused by a tempo driver to a pet dog miffed the animal's owner so much that he hacked the former to death. The incident happened in Delhi's Uttam Nagar late on Friday night when Vijender Rana, a 40-year-old driver, accidentally hurt the dog of Ankit. Filled with rage, Ankit called his brother Paras, and his tenant Dev Chopra to attack Vijender.

According to police, Vijender was driving his tempo home at 11:30 PM, and he called his wife and brother to open the society gate. While taking a right turn, he hit the pet dog who was accompanied by Ankit. A war of words ensued between the two, and Ankit called his aides. The trio then attacked Vijender with knives and screwdrivers.
Vijender's family rushed to help him, serious injuries killed him
Vijender's cry for help was heard by his wife, brother Rajesh and son, who rushed to help him. The attackers hurt Rajesh too. The brothers were taken to a nearby hospital, where Vijender was pronounced brought dead. He suffered serious injuries on the abdomen and chest. Rajesh was shifted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. The family of the victim alleged attackers were drunk.
Accused at large, three teams formed to nab them
Anto Alphonse, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) said they received a call at around 1 AM about the stabbing. By the time, they reached the spot the accused had fled. An FIR was registered on the basis of the complaint of Seema, Vijender's wife, and on the statement of an eyewitness. The police have formed three teams to nab the accused.
