Delhi nursery admissions begin: All details you should know
The admissions for nursery in approximately 1,600 private schools of Delhi began on Saturday, December 15. According to the notification of Delhi government's Directorate of Education (DoE), the last date to submit applications is January 7. The first list of students who made the cut will be released on February 4, second on February 21, and the admissions will end on March 31, 2019.

The documents one would need for the admissions are two photographs, self-attested copies of date of birth, sibling certificate, proof of alumni, first child, residential proof, documentary proof for EWS category, application under school staff quota, special needs category and proof of single parent (if applicable). Notably, as per new rule, no school can deny admission in the absence of Aadhaar card.
Kids can't be denied admission in absence of Aadhaar
UIDAI said denying admissions on the basis of Aadhaar was unlawful. The Aadhaar issuing body said, "Till Aadhaar number is assigned or biometrics is updated for such students all facilities should be extended through alternate means of identification."
Details about age limit and reservation here
The age limit for nursery is less than four years, for kindergarten, it's less than five years and for Class 1 the student should be less than six years old. Notably, 25% seats in the aforementioned classes are reserved for underprivileged kids. The schools will send a confirmation on the registered mobile number. The process will be concluded on March 31.
