DND flyover shut due to farmers' protest, Delhi-Noida traffic suffers
What's the story
The DND flyover which connects Delhi and Noida was shut on Friday after a group of farmers came out on streets to protest, claimed multiple reports.
The farmers started their march from Pari Chowk in Noida and moved towards Delhi.
Commuters were advised to avoid the DND flyover and use alternate routes like Mayur Vihar or Kalindi Kunj.

Commuters advised to check social media for updates
In a statement, Noida traffic police said, diversions would be made according to the requirement.
Alok Kumar, Joint commissioner (traffic), said traffic officers of Noida and Delhi were constantly in touch. The traffic could also be diverted through Akshardham road, he added.
Commuters were suggested to keep a tab on social media handles of Delhi and Noida traffic police to stay updated.

Twitter user @SanghiHaddock advised people to avoid Rajnigandha underpass going towards Film City. He added farmers have parked their tractors on the roads.
