Delhi: Human skeleton found inside tank of MCD primary school
A human skeleton was found inside a tank in an MCD school in Mukhmelpur village of Alipur area in Delhi's Rohini district, police said on Thursday. The police were informed about the incident by the school authorities on Wednesday evening, they said. The police are questioning the school authorities and those involved in the maintenance of the tank, police added. Here's more on it.
Skeleton was spotted by laborers while cleaning the tank
Police said a skull and some bones were recovered from the tank after a few laborers involved in the cleaning spotted them and immediately alerted the school administration. Police along with crime and a forensic science laboratory team visited the spot and are waiting for the report to ascertain how old the skeleton is and if it was of a man or woman.
