Delhi: AAP government presents Rs. 60,000 crore budget for 2019-20
The AAP government today presented a Rs. 60,000 crore budget for 2019-20 in the Assembly and said it's "two times more" than the one presented in 2014-15. Presenting the budget, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said the budget has been dedicated to soldiers martyred in the Pulwama attack. The Delhi Assembly session began with a standing ovation to the IAF for bombing terror-camps in Pakistan.
IAF bombed JeM terror camps inside the Pakistani territory
The Indian Air Force carried out pre-dawn air strikes on terror camps inside Pakistani territory. 12 Mirage-2000 jets executed the operation, dropping nearly 1,000 kg of explosives on Jaish-e-Mohammed's biggest camp in Balakot, Pakistan. It was at this camp that mastermind of Pulwama attack, Abdul Ghazi alias Kamran was trained. The operation started at 3:30 AM, reportedly, and ended in 19-minutes.
A Rs. 53,000 crore budget was presented last year
Talking about the budget, Sisodia, also the finance minister of Delhi, said, "Budget estimates for 2019-20 are pegged at Rs. 60,000 crore which is two times more than the budget presented in 2014-15." A Rs. 53,000 crore budget was presented last year.
