45-year-old Chartered Accountant shot dead in Delhi's Adarsh Nagar
A 45-year-old Chartered Accountant was shot dead on Tuesday morning allegedly by unidentified men in northwest Delhi's Adarsh Nagar area, police said. The deceased, Anil Aggarwal, was a resident of Majlis Park, they said. On Tuesday around 10 am, a PCR call was received regarding the incident of firing in which one person got injured.
The injured was declared brought dead at the hospital
"The injured was shifted to the Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, where he was declared brought dead," Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest) Usha Rangnani said. A case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the Arms Act has been registered. Teams have been formed to arrest the accused, and CCTV footage is being analyzed. Further investigation is underway.
A horrific double murder happened in the capital last night
The national capital witnessed a horrific double murder on Monday night in which two men were stabbed to death after a fight broke out near the Udyog Vihar Metro station in outer Delhi. The incident was caught on CCTV camera. The victims were rushed to a hospital where they were declared dead. Both the accused have since been arrested by the police.
Another similar murder took place in Delhi recently
In another such incident, a 47-year old man was shot dead by unidentified persons in Delhi's Khajoori Khas area on March 13, 2021. The man identified as Shorab Ansari was sitting at his shop in Khajoori Khas area when some persons shot him. The case was registered under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code.
