60-year-old rapes two children, gives them Rs.5 to keep mum
In another shocking incident in the National Capital, Delhi police arrested a 60-year-old man for raping two minor girls. The accused Mohammad Jainul, a laborer, has since confessed to committing the heinous crime. After raping them, he paid the girls - aged 5 and 9 years - Rs. 5 each for not telling anyone about the incident. Read on for more.
Jainul lured the girls with chocolates, sweets
On Sunday, the girls were playing outside the 9-year-old's house when Jainul lured them, promising chocolates and sweets. Jainul's family wasn't at his home when he brought the minors there and raped them in front of each other. After warning them against disclosing the incident, he let them go. The girls' parents, also laborers, were out for work when the children were kidnapped, assaulted.
Rapist under 14-day judicial custody
Initially terrified, the girls didn't talk about the incident. However, in the evening, the 5- year-old started crying in pain and finally told her mother about what had happened. Injury marks on her private parts confirmed her mother's suspicion. The police were informed, statements recorded. The minors eventually identified the rapist, who is now under a 14-day judicial custody.
