What's the story

The driver of a Haryana Roadways bus was allegedly assaulted by toll employees at the Gurgaon-Faridabad plaza on Tuesday. The incident took place around 11.30 am.

A case has now been registered in the matter.

Both the bus driver and toll plaza employees are undergoing treatment in a city hospital.

The incident

Driver alleged he was beaten up by toll employees: Police

According to a report, the toll booth employees allegedly did not allow the driver to pass with his bus, saying he did not have enough money in his toll tag.

However, the driver alleged he was beaten up by the toll employees.

He has now filed a police complaint regarding the matter at DLF Phase 1 police station.

Details

No arrests have been made so far: Police

SHO of DLF Phase 1 police station said, "An argument ensued and eventually escalated into a physical fight. A case has been registered regarding the matter under Section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC and investigation is underway. No arrest has been made yet."

Reportedly, this is the not the first time such an incident happened at a toll plaza in the city.
