Most candidates don't get qualified because of preparation flaws. Here are some mistakes to avoid while preparing for Mains.
Not having a proper preparation plan is a huge mistake

Some aspirants tend to focus only on studying but not on revising the topics, which is a mistake. It is important to revise the entire syllabus thoroughly at least twice before the exams; written practice is essential too. Lack of consistent preparation and regular practice/revision may impact their preparation adversely. Apart from revision and practice, they should solve previous papers and mock tests.

Not choosing the right optional subject for CSE Mains
Choosing the optional subject for Mains is a crucial decision and not selecting the right one could be a terrible mistake. Aspirants must make the decision after carefully considering various factors like their educational background, interests, and the availability of guidance/coaching/study material for that subject. Most importantly, they should choose a subject that they are interested in and comfortable with.
