The new functionality enables customers who opt for cash-on-delivery to have their change immediately credited to their Zomato Money account. This will help in cases when it's hard to find exact change. The innovative approach was inspired by BigBasket, an online grocery service owned by the Tata Group.

"Starting today, our customers can pay delivery partners in cash and ask for the balance amount to be added instantly to their Zomato Money account," Goyal announced.
