The big tech companies of WhatsApp, Amazon, and Tesla, where professionals would kill to get a job, are hiring for various positions. WhatsApp is hiring for the position of Software Developer, VoIP, Amazon for Software Development Engineer, and Tesla for Senior Software Engineer. While WhatsApp and Tesla are looking for employees for their US office, Amazon is recruiting in India (Gurugram office).
WhatsApp: Role, responsibility and minimum qualification
Job responsibilities include building new voice- and video-related features and optimizing voice and video call quality across network conditions and devices. Candidates should have experience with programming in C/C++, 2+ years of experience in building mobile applications, and 5+ years of hands-on networking experience. WhatsApp is also looking for a Communications Manager in India
Notably, WhatsApp had earlier listed out a job vacancy for Communications Manager, looking for someone to lead its communications in the Indian market. The full-time job, which is based out of Gurugram or New Delhi, can still be applied for.
Amazon: Role, responsibility and minimum qualification
Job responsibilities include designing and developing systems and applications used by Amazon worldwide, planning and executing technology projects, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates must have bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, two years of experience writing complex production code, a robust understanding of computer science fundamentals, and proficiency in either Java, C, C++, C#, Ruby, or Python.
Need experience in building scalable web-based applications: Amazon
Amazon said, "You will be expected to have an established background in building highly scalable systems. Experience with building and operating web-based applications and/or web services-based applications, especially at massive scale, will be very applicable and helpful."
Tesla: Role, responsibility and minimum qualification
Job responsibilities include developing software to control test equipment, collecting data to ensure Model 3 and Energy products pass end-of-line testing, and creating robust software application to support electrical/pneumatic panels. Candidates must have BS in computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline, 5 years' experience in JS, CSS, and HTML, experience in Python, experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, and strong background in data.
