Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC launched in India: Details here
UK-based automaker Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched its Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC at a starting price of Rs. 10.73 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Internationally, the bike is available in two variants i.e Scrambler 1200 XC, and Scrambler 1200 XE. However, the company has released only the XC model in India. Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC: At a glance
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC offers a retro look featuring a naked body, spoked wheels, dual exhausts, and an attractive paint job. It has a TFT instrument panel with a built-in integrated GoPro control system, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, and a USB charging slot. Furthermore, the bike comes with LED headlights, LED tail lamps, and DRLs (Daytime Running Lights).
Engine and performance
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, is powered by a 1,200cc Liquid Cooled Parallel Twin SOHC Engine which churns out 90bhp of maximum power at 7,400rpm and 110Nm of peak torque at 3,950rpm.

For braking performance, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, and a dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) to avoid skidding while braking. Further, it offers fully adjustable USD forks upfront along with Öhlins fully adjustable twin shock suspension on the rear side. Also, the bike offers five riding modes- Road, Rain, Sport, Off-road, and Rider-configurable.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC has been priced at Rs. 10.73 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. At this price, the bike will take on the likes of Ducati Scrambler 1100 and BMW R nine T Scrambler in the country.
