Swiggy, a leading player in the food delivery and quick commerce space, has introduced a new service to help its restaurant partners procure kitchen equipment. The initiative will connect these restaurants with reliable suppliers, providing a variety of high-quality items such as freezers, chillers, cookers, and microwaves at competitive rates. The service is only available for restaurants on Swiggy's platform.
How to avail the new service?
To avail this new service, restaurant partners will have to register via the Swiggy Owner app. Once registered, vendors will reach out to them. This simplified process should make it easier for restaurants on Swiggy's platform to get the kitchen equipment they need, further improving their operational efficiency and possibly even their service quality.
Ongoing efforts to support restaurants
The kitchen equipment procurement service is the latest in a series of initiatives by Swiggy to help its restaurant partners. Back in October, the company launched the "Swiggy Seal" label for restaurants that maintain high standards of hygiene, food quality, and packaging. The move uses insights from over seven million verified customer reviews to offer actionable feedback to restaurant partners.
Swiggy's marketing solutions for restaurant partners
Earlier this year, Swiggy had rolled out marketing solutions to boost customer engagement for its restaurant partners. The services are available to partners across India, and are designed to improve their online brand visibility through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. They include influencer marketing, targeted social media advertising on Facebook and Instagram, as well as WhatsApp marketing.
