Ahead of May 20 launch, Suzuki Gixxer 250's details leaked
According to a recent official teaser by the company, Suzuki India is all set to launch Gixxer 250 in India on May 20. Interestingly, the specifications and features of the new model have been revealed ahead of its launch. As per the leak, the bike will feature a fully-faired design and will come with dual channel ABS. Here is our roundup.
Suzuki Gixxer 250: At a glance
Talking about looks and design, the all-new Suzuki Gixxer 250 is likely to come with the fully-faired look, sharp design cues, and an attractive paint job. It is expected to offer all new-age features including a digital instrument console, LED headlamps, LED taillights, and LED signal turn lamps. Moreover, the bike will be available in three color options - Blue, Grey, and Silver.
Under the hood
As per the latest tip-off, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 will be powered by a 248cc oil-cooled 4-stroke parallel-twin engine which can produce a maximum power of 26.5bhp and a peak torque of 23.3Nm. The bike is said to come mated with a 6-speed gearbox and is likely to offer a mileage of 30kmpl.
Suzuki Gixxer 250 to get dual-channel ABS
As per the leaks, the braking duties of Suzuki Gixxer 250 are likely to be handled by front and rear disc brakes along with a dual channel ABS to avoid skidding on the road while braking. For suspension duties, it is expected to adopt a conventional telescopic fork up front, and a mono-shock suspension unit on the rear side.

As per the official teaser, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 will officially launch in India on May 20. As far as price is concerned, the bike is expected to arrive at a price range of around Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
